Marcopolo Shipyard is a wholly owned subsidiary of Marco Polo
Marine Ltd (a public listed company in the Stock Exchange
of Singapore).
Strategically located in Batam, Indonesia (only 45 minutes
away from Singapore by ferry), PT. Marcopolo Shipyard is one
of the larger shipyards in Batam. The Shipyard has a total
land area of approximately 35 hectares and a seafront of approximately
650 m. Situated at the South of Batam Island, Batu Aji, the
shipyard is surrounded with calm water up to 6 m water depth
at zero tide.
Equipped with (3) three units of Graving Docks (up to 45 m
Width x 190 m length), 20 hectares of building berth, sheltered
workshops, modern equipment and a strong team of highly motivated
and committed work force, the Shipyard carries out Ship Building,
Ship Conversion, Dry-docking and Repair Works for vessels
up to 40,000 DWT. The Shipyard also carries out Offshore Fabrication
& Installation Works.

Marco Polo Marine
